I rely on Your constant love

181. The best thing I learned in Math: the meaning of the word CONSTANT. Wikipedia says:
"Constant" means not depending on some variable; not changing as that variable changes. And so this constant love mentioned in Psalm 13 is like that. I've doubted or became fearful and sinful but my God loves me all the same.

182. unexpected blessings and God's message behind them.

183. our customers continuously appreciate our products. Praise God!

♩♪♫Skidamarink A Dink A Dink♩♪♫

166. I did not receive any call from my bosses this weekend (though I got a number of e-mails). Last year kasi I received calls even at the middle of the night. Because I know now what to do (that is to send report no less than 2 x in a day), I saved myself from taranta calls.

167. Totskie is also working at IRRI and so sabay kami nag-overtime last Saturday.

168. Date with girl friend Eyna

169. Alika meets Totskie's nieces and nephews. Riot!

170. Yaya for a day. Our house just turned into a real cupcake factory because of our customers' orders for V day. Since I did not accept much orders due to work, my sister-in-law/apprentice Ate Bel is on deck while I take care of the fully-charged singing/dancing/jumping/climbing/eating/pooping/talking/screaming baby doll, Alika. Not to mention while doing my reports. #kalokapalamagingmommy

Here's Alika's favorite song nowadays:

I choose to make everyday a great(ful) day.

It's been a busy week for me, as expected. I've been sleeping less each day due to work. But since I've been preparing for this month since December, I still feel the joy in doing these things. I feel that the Lord is with me in everything I do and I believe that He will see me through. I know He has also a lot of lessons to teach me just like last year. And probably the first lesson is this: stay focused on God even if there are so many things going around. I just noticed that I've been eating a lot to make up for the lost sleep but I shouldn't. Sayang naman yung nabawas kong lbs for the last 2mos. :)

Lesson no. 2: Be grateful at all times. So cliche and pudpod na but I still have to practice this. I've read this from Max Lucado's UpWords today: Gratitude!  It’s the firstborn child of grace, the appropriate response of the blessed. Immerse yourself in the curriculum of grace!  It’s so easy to be distracted.  So easy to be ungrateful! Choose to make every day—a great day.

So here's a quick run down of all the blessings I received in the passed days:

146. Totskie's 2_th birthday with his family
147. Totskie's 2_th birthday with my family
148. Successful Brief launch
149. Bonding time with office mates till the wee hours of the morning
150. Impressions galore for the ISAAA brief
151. My bosses allowed me to miss the most important day of our organization so I could attend
152. the most important day for my dear friend Cha
153. seeing old friends from high school: Mama May, Anna, and Krista
154. chikahan with Chaz
155. two hours of sleep last Wednesday (kala ko nga wala)
156. ever supportive Totskie, who drove me to Tagaytay
157. and did errands I could not do anymore
158. watching the Lisyu concert
159. Tita Eden and Tito Raden's words of wisdom about marriage
160. went to the office on bike yesterday

It's raining graces and blessings!:)

P.S. I know that most of my readers, if not all, are my dearest friends. Thanks to all of you!!! Please pray for me these days, ha? Tenchu!!!

Work work work...for the Lord!*

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:22-4:1

When I was in my 3rd year in college, I felt that the LORD was calling me to serve as a missionary. So I followed His instructions and worked as a mission volunteer of our province while studying.  (Warning: Super haggardness ako nung shinoot to ni Chanot. As in nagawa ako ng thesis sa bahay ng boss ko tapos lumabas ako ng two hours to do this AVP for a YFC conference)

Four months after graduation, I left mission work for the corporate world. On same day that I got my job, I also received a call from one of our ministry heads and he was asking me to be a full time worker for Gawad Kalinga. Hay, I was torn and cried for days because I was not allowed my parents to get that offer. I didn't find contentment in my work then for my heart was looking for something more deep, like a more "direct" work for the LORD. On my second job, I realized that we can work for the LORD by doing any job that is pleasing to God. So since then, I do my work with joy in my heart and still carrying the mission of reminding others (esp my office mates) about the love of God.

Our boss just arrived in the Philippines this afternoon and so busy days are starting tomorrow. I really pray that I would still be able to write blogs regularly. Well, I'll just take it one day at a time and fight like a missionary on assignment.

My top 5 for this day:

141. Young Blood. This column motivated me to read the newspaper in high school. I didn't care much about what was happening in our country then, but I must know what youngsters like me were going thru. I used to cut out my favorite stories then. And today, my colleague led me back to this column with a winning kilig story that took place in our beloved UPLB!

142. Totskie waited for me to come out of the office. Then sabay kami naglakad palabas ng IRRI tapos byebye na. And I'll see him again tomorrow at lunch. *wink wink*

143. Quick brownout. I would not have known that my UPS was not working anymore if not for the quick brownout. Saka ang bilis lang ng brownout sa office at sa bahay namin di gaya sa Forestry.

144. Biking and Kinecting. When I arrived home, I felt the urge to bike 'coz Momsi and Ate Millet were outside our house pulling off grasses. Then Kinect naman with Mom. Hay, life is beautiful and so am I. :)

145. Chingching's e-mail and comment and latest blog post (I'll send you a message sooooon!aylabshu!).

Bring it on!!!

136. My temperature went down just before I went to the office. Kung kelan may dahilan para umabsent, di naman makapag-absent. :p

137. Went to the bank at lunch time and there was no line! Finished my transaction in less than 10 minutes.

138. My Globe Visibility is working again. In prep for the super busy month, I need instant net connection anytime, anywhere.

139. Confirmed meeting with Steph B. (PDI cartoonist). She'll be the illustrator of the publication I'm writing. God is so awesome!

140. Totskie and I decided to have big goals this year with 3 deadlines: March, June, and September. Let's do this God. Bring in on!
